ABOUT
Gryaznov Design studio was established in 2010.
I am Vikenty Gryaznov, and I am designer of watches. I graduated from Strate College Designers (Paris, France) in 2008 with a degree in automotive design and in design of produit de luxe. But very soon focused on watch design and jewellery. In 2011, I worked jointly with Konstantin Chaykin. The result was presented on Basel World 2011. It was Lunokhod watch. After that we have worked on several projects that have had a major impact on the industry.
I have implemented different projects for micro brands, global companies, and for private customers, as well. Exclusive timepieces, modifying the existing models, a brand new collection of watches, and concept watches.
I am a member of GPHG Academy.
Since November 2025 I am a design tutor at Watchmaking school of Finland.
I love watches. I love sketching, brainstorming, developing new design strategies, creating cool brands and watches. I like to experiment with different design trends from classics to retro futurism. I like reliable materials from stainless steel to sapphire.
Without a doubt, the watch is an avatar of a person, it is his sense of the world and himself in the world. Therefore, when developing the design of the case, I put functionality and ergonomics at the same level of importance as style.
By creating new brands, or developing existing ones, I create values and write history. My goal is to make the values valuable and the history rich.
